Practice Director – US Tax

Tong joins KNAV with 17 years of tax provision and compliance experience, which 10 of those in Big 4. While at other firms, Tong was responsible for IFRS and GAAP tax accounting reporting and corporate and partnership tax compliance.

Prior to joining KNAV, Tong worked with various public traded companies in their tax departments. Those companies include oil & gas and manufacturing companies. Tong was responsible for IFRS/GAAP tax provision preparation, financial statement footnote disclosure, and other specific tax accounting projects as a Senior Tax Manager. There, she rebuilt from the ground up and streamlined the in-house tax provision procedures and oversaw hiring for the entire provision team. At PricewaterhouseCoopers, she led provision preparation projects, tax compliance projects for multinational independent oil & gas drilling companies, private equity firms in the Industry Service Group.

Tong is an IRS Enrolled Agent Tong graduated top of her class from LSU with master’s in accounting, and a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology Beijing.
